Have you ever tried making a sauce with silken tofu? If not, now's the right time!

Silken tofu sauces are made by blending silken tofu with different seasonings. Once blended, the tofu turns into a creamy, velvety-smooth sauce without requiring much added fat. Now, do silken tofu sauces taste as rich as cream-based ones? Not quite. But they have many advantages:

  • Everything's made in a blender. I've designed these sauces so there's no need to sauté anything beforehand. Simply add all the ingredients to a blender, blend until smooth, and you're done!
  • Higher in protein than most sauces. Since silken tofu is the base, these sauces naturally contain more protein than most traditional sauces.
  • Versatile. Use them with any type of pasta, cooked beans, sautéed tofu, tempeh, etc.
  • Great for meal-prep. Each sauce will keep for up to 3 days in the fridge, so you can make them ahead of time and save some time. When you're ready to eat, simply cook your pasta, toss it with the sauce, and enjoy!

How It Works

Pick up the sauce of your choice and blend all of the ingredients. Then, simply cook your favorite pasta, drain it, and transfer it to a deep skillet. Pour the sauce, toss to coat, and cook for 2-3 minutes. That's all!
